This dissertation covers Umpolungs- and hydrogen-bonding catalysis as well as anion-recognition with phosphorus based structural motifs.
Especially the succesful first-time introduction of the cyclodiphosph(V)azane(or diazadiphosphetidine)-core to organocatalysis and anion-recognition is described. Synthetic strategies and limitations as well as future applications are discussed.
The results presented in this work are key to the design of further novel organocatalysts based on the remarkable cyclodiphosph(V)azane core.
