Stephanie Starke Fostering Networking as a Decisive Entrepreneurial Ability
284 Seiten, Dissertation Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2011), Hardcover, A5
Entrepreneurship is, from an economic and labor market perspective, vital for the success and competiveness of today’s societies, which face enormous economic and social challenges. Empirical evidence has shown that about fifty percent of all new jobs are provided by small and medium-sized businesses. Therefore, Entrepreneurship and Business Planning abilities are considered key abilities within a knowledge-based economy. Consequently, Entrepreneurship Education has become an important instrument for the development and safeguarding of the human resources of an economy, and there is a strong political demand for it. From the perspective of Human Resource Education & Management (HRE&M), these entrepreneurial abilities have to be operationalized and also modeled in order to be developed and fostered. This study aims to investigate trait and state aspects of networking in a University context and tries to promote strategies as a basis for an effective and efficient training of networking behavior.
