Robert Woehl All-Screen-Printed Back-Contact Back-Junction Silicon Solar Cells with Aluminum-Alloyed Emitter
177 Seiten, Dissertation Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau (2011), Softcover, A5
In this work, a high-efficiency back-contact back-junction (BC-BJ) silicon solar cell was developed and characterized that features an aluminum-alloyed emitter and industrially feasible process steps like screen-printing used for structuring and metallization. The aim was to develop a solar cell process sequence that inherits an aluminum-alloying step for realizing the emitter and with it reaching a high-efficiency BC-BJ-solar cell.
For realizing this new cell structure in the first part individual process steps and sequences are developed and analyzed because of their particular importance for the developed solar cell. The second part describes the derived solar cell process sequences, cell results and characterization. In the third and last part a new point-shaped metallization configuration is proposed and demonstrated in respect to interconnection.
