The signal processing of today's receivers for global navigation satellite systems, such as GPS or Galileo, is optimized for measuring independent satellite signals. The resulting architecture of the receiver is vulnerable to strong amplitude fluctuations and distortions of some of the received signals. Effectively there exists a high spatial and spectral correlation among all the received satellite signals. This thesis discusses the design of coherent algorithms for satellite navigation receivers exploiting these spatial and spectral correlations of all concurrently received signals. The novel receiver structure exhibits an increased precision and enhanced robustness against the mentioned disturbances. The developed concepts offer many extensions, such as the determination of the receiver's orientation in space, as documented in the thesis.
