Holger Benninghoff Modeling Entrepreneurial Competence: Essays on the Analysis of Entrepreneurship Activities
301 Seiten, Dissertation Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2016), Softcover, A5
This dissertation includes three papers contributing to the international discussion about entrepreneurial competence. To examine whether CHAT is applicable in the field of entrepreneurship, the first article contains a theoretical examination of its appropriateness and usability. Furthermore, a literature review and expert interviews provide a first insight into entrepreneurial challenges and their underlying processes. The second article includes an in-depth examination of the problems and tensions emerging during the venture-creation process. Therefore, three different expertise groups and their deviating perceptions of entrepreneurial activity are considered. The third study connects entrepreneurial challenges and personal dispositions in order to approach a valid modeling of entrepreneurial competence and therefore to enable an improvement of curricula, instructional designs and assessment techniques in entrepreneurship education.
