David Schultheiß Development and characterization of a thermally triggered, self-collapsible gypsum-based core material for hollow composite applications (LCC Band 20)
211 Seiten, Dissertation Technische Universität München (2016), Softcover, A5
A gypsum-based lost core material for the production of hollow composite components is presented in the context of this thesis. The disintegration of the core material is achieved by the introduction of a specific amount of expandable graphite. In the frame of the investigations selected process parameters and material properties are evaluated. The finally performed verification by means of the fabrication of demonstrator components points out the additional prospects of the new material.
