Zusammenfassung / Abstract

This thesis presents a new method for the automatic structural analysis of analog and digital integrated circuits.

The method provides automatic recognition of basic analog and digital building blocks, automatic identification of analog and digital signal paths as well as symmetry computation.

Applications in the context of automatic analysis of digital standard cells as well as automatic sizing and placement of analog circuits are presented.
