Dino Bortot
Ergonomic Human-Robot Coexistence in the Branch of Production

234 Seiten, Dissertation Technische Universität München (2014), Softcover, A5

Zusammenfassung / Abstract

Bringing human workers together with industrial robots in the same workspace arises questions that need to be answered by ergonomists. This thesis collects empirical data on how to design human-robot systems to prevent the persons concerned from feelings such as anxiety, distrust, or fear. With the focus on the three main research topics ‘Human proxemics’, ‘Human well-being and performance influencing factors’ and ‘The influence of the robot’s predictability’ in human-robot systems, four different studies determine design parameters that are summarized as recommendations in a design guideline.
