Wolfgang Krätschmer
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in Strongly Correlated Transition–Metal Oxides

193 Seiten, Dissertation Universität Augsburg (2013), Softcover, B5

Zusammenfassung / Abstract

This thesis treats the study of electronic correlations in two systems belonging to the class of transition-metal oxides by means of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Barium copper indate is a low-dimensional quantum magnet where the magnetic copper ions reside on so-called paperchains. Lithium vanadate is the first heavy-fermion system involving 3d-electrons and still a challenge in fundamental solid-state physics.
