Philip Jordan Scalable Modelling of Aircraft Environmental Control Systems
139 Seiten, Dissertation Technische Universität Hamburg (2018), Softcover, A5
The emerging use of non-conventional architectures in commercial aircraft systems leads to the demand of new tools and processes adapted to the new environment. In this thesis, a system simulation tool for aircraft environmental control and cooling systems is implemented and a method that allows to re-use the information on the system topology contained in a system model is developed. With this method, the system model can be efficiently scaled to the simulation tasks of the different phases of the system design cycle. The application of the method is demonstrated on a 'More-Electric' architecture of an environmental control system.
